A for-profit zine dedicated to the InuYasha and Yashahime: Half Demon Princesses series centered around a four seasons theme.We will be looking for 24 page Artists, 4 merchandise artists, and 4 writers.

Artist Mod
Eliza Kitty E. Wolf is an artist, writer, designer and collaborator,. They enjoy being a part of fandom and have worked on many events as part of a team, experiences in both leader and contributor. Inuyasha has been a favorite series since childhood and Yashahime only brought back the nostalgia, they are commited to the project.

InuYasha was one of my very first anime, and it sparked my introduction to a medium I've adored for decades! I owe so much to Rumiko Takahashi's world and characters and I want to help give back by making something beautiful together!

Background Writer Mod
Avra is a professional writer and editor who previously worked as a journalist and broadcaster. He discovered the world of InuYasha in 2005, when a friend introduced him to the anime. He’s been a fan ever since. Avra brings nearly 15 years of writing experience, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering captivating content to the project. This is his third time assisting with a creative project in a writer mod role.


Kari
Shipping Mod
As a writer, artist, and cringe aficionado, Kari has been a fan of Inuyasha for at least 100 years, and is delighted to see the love for the series and its creator revived through Yashahime. This will be the 28th fandom project Kari has participated in, and her 8th time in a mod role!

FAQ

Will this be a physical or digital zine?
Our intention is to have a physical zine pending Interest Check results. If we fail to meet an undisclosed threshold, this will become a digital zine instead.
Is this project for profit or for charity?
At this time, the project will be for-profit.
How will Contributors be compensated?
Contributors will be compensated by either monetary profits and/or a full zine bundle budget permitting. If the zine fails to meet the goal to get full zine bundles out to all Contributors, then the Contributors will receive a free PDF of the zine and a chance to buy the zine bundle at production cost.
What is expected of the page artists?
Either 2 single-page illustrations or 1 double-page spread.
What is expected of merchandise artists?
Merchandise Artists are expected to create 2 pieces of merchandise whether they be stickers or keychains. Merchandise will be decided by a combination of the Interest Check results and the skills of the merchandise Artists.
What is expected of the writers?
Either 1 piece that is 5,000 words long or 2 pieces that are 2,500 words.
Do you consider the Shiina manga canon?
The project will treat the manga by Shiina as canon as well as the TV series.

Information

This is a for-profit InuYasha & Yashahime zine with a theme centered around seasons.The zine will be around 80-100 pages in A5 size. Physical or digital release will depend on results from the Interest Check. Merchandise will also be dependent on Contributor submissions as well as results from the Interest Check.
